ROSE MCNAUL *

Hello!

I grew up in New England. After graduating from Emerson College, I volunteered with AmeriCorps' City Year, teaching in Boston Public Schools, promoting civic responsibility, and working on transformative projects in the community.

After finishing the program, I moved West for new opportunities. For 15 years, I lived in Los Angeles, building a successful career in the film industry.

I continue to work from Batavia and travel the world with incredible artists, managing budgets and developing ideas. I understand how to properly allocate funds, track expenses, work with a diverse group of people, and deliver what the clients expect.

My husband and I chose to relocate to Kane County to be close to family. 2025 will be his second year as a prosecutor with the State Attorney's office. We believe a strong family unit is a gift to the community.

He left his hometown in Wisconsin for West Point in early 2000. Of all the places we've lived, Batavia feels most like home.

We appreciate green spaces, safe neighborhoods, vast farmland, and charming main streets.

Our community is facing complex issues that need balanced, equitable solutions. I have a strong sense of civic duty and love the people of our community. To positively impact our children (and community), we must focus on effective strategies based on data.

I am inspired by all the citizens who have protected children and feel compelled to do my very best.

Batavia deserves a school board that genuinely represents our interests and needs!
