Wow, I’m truly humbled to have nearly 2,000 citizens cast their votes for me!!!
As the great Stephen k. Bannon once said, “The people have had a belly full of it!”
A huge thank you to my family, the volunteers, the wonderful people of Batavia, and all the incredible friends I’ve made over the past six months.
To the citizens who connected with my campaign, know that you’re not alone.
We must remain vigilant at board meetings and demand higher standards from everyone involved in our children's lives.

Hello!
I grew up in New England. After graduating from Emerson College, I volunteered with AmeriCorps' City Year, teaching in Boston Public Schools, promoting civic responsibility, and working on transformative projects in the community.
After finishing the program, I moved West for new opportunities. For 15 years, I lived in Los Angeles, building a successful career in the film industry.
I continue to work from Batavia and travel the world with incredible artists, managing budgets and developing ideas. I understand how to properly allocate funds, track expenses, work with a diverse group of people, and deliver what the clients expect.
My husband and I chose to relocate to Kane County to be close to family. 2025 will be his second year as a prosecutor with the State Attorney's office. We believe a strong family unit is a gift to the community.
He left his hometown in Wisconsin for West Point in early 2000. Of all the places we've lived, Batavia feels most like home.
We appreciate green spaces, safe neighborhoods, vast farmland, and charming main streets.
Our community is facing complex issues that need balanced, equitable solutions. I have a strong sense of civic duty and love the people of our community. To positively impact our children (and community), we must focus on effective strategies based on data.
I am inspired by all the citizens who have protected children and feel compelled to do my very best.
Batavia deserves a school board that genuinely represents our interests and needs!

SCHOOL BOARD 101
✦
SCHOOL BOARD 101 ✦
School board elections are vital.
they influence school operations, budgets, and education quality.
impacting STUDENTS, TEACHERS, and the community.
Illinois has the 2nd highest property taxes in the US.
Two-thirds of your property tax payments support public education costs.
School board decisions directly impact your home.
Curriculum transparency - What is your child exposed to? Are they actually graduating able to compete?
Financial transparency - Where do your tax dollars go?
STUDENTS - How are we preparing the next generation of citizens? Test Scores, truancy, behavioral and emotional issues, immigration, ESL, curriculum - what do the stats say? (see below)
PARENTS - (Not administrators, teachers, coaches, etc.) Must be their childs compass. Parents must stay informed, and board must address all concerns.
SAFETY FIRST - If our children are not safe, they cannot learn.
COMMUNITY - Values of board should reflect the people.
PARTNERSHIP - Teachers and parents must communicate.
RESPECT - Everyone should recognize their important role in a child's development.

Illinois Public Schools Fail: Kids Can’t Read
Only 39 in every 100 Illinois students can read at grade level.
Is your child one of them?
What does it mean for our children when 93% of kids graduate,
yet only 50% of them can read and 46% can do math?
WHAT ESPECIALLY DOES NOT ADD UP ….
“QUALIFIED EVALUATORS” ARE GRADING TEACHERS AT 99% EXCELLENCE WHEN ONLY HALF OUR CHILDREN ARE READY TO GRADUATE !!!!
WE MUST DEMAND MEI - MERIT, EXCELLENCE, INTELLIGENCE!
zero tolerance for bullying!
zero tolerance for blanket passing grades!
zero tolerance for our children’s futures being compromised!
Atlas Van Lines' 2024 Migration Patterns Study, Illinois ranked third in the nation for residents moving out, with 57% of total migration being outbound.
We must keep great people and families here in Batavia!
WE MUST DO BETTER!
FOR OUR CHILDREN … AND PROPERTY VALUES!
